This body of work is inspired by the extraordinary nature of birds, especially owls. The belief by some Australian Aboriginal groups that owls are the sacred spirits of women - good owls was also inspirational. There is a saying ‘Owls are sacred, because your sister is Owl, and the Owl is your sister’.
